Our activities in the Environmental sector include the enhancement of natural heritage areas as well as the re-creation of new habitat that was once lost. As an example we completed the construction Canada’s largest man-made coastal wetland, in Hamilton, ON. Another example of our excellence in natural heritage work is the Earl Bales Park in Toronto. This project was recognized as the largest storm water retrofit pond in North America. The work here encompassed a site footprint of 8 hectares with a 3.2 -hectare pond in what was formerly the location of a sewage treatment plant with outfall to the Don River.
